Minutos depois, pousou este macho de ganga./Señor Rafael tried at all costs to convince me to go to his farm, to take great photos of Stone Curlews, Pin-tailed Sandgrouse, and the like. He preached the virtues of his hides, the prizes that those who photographed there won, the vast number of species that came to drink at his puddles. And with this, he purposefully sabotaged my morning at the El Planerón reserve. Señor Rafael wanted 100 euros per day for the usage of the hides at his farm, and there at the SEO reserve where I was, hide usage cost me nothing. After fifteen endless minutes, I finally convinced Señor Rafael that all I wanted to do was draw, that I was not a photographer, and promised to channel his contact to some photographer friend if one would need such thing. Before he left (relief), he suggested I move the car from where I had parked it, as it was a bit conspicuous for birds who would come to drink at the puddle. And before he started the car, he gave me a peach. Minutes after, this male Pin-tailed Sandgrouse landed.
